With 40 years of Taekwondo experience, we have developed a program with all the right tools to help your child Achieve Certain Victory in life, one goal at a time. We continuously advance our classes with the most up-to-date coordination and agility-building drills, all while keeping our classes fun and motivating. Our program is non-abrasive, using positive reinforcement and instilling discipline.



We are sure to have your child set on the right path! Our teachers have experience and patience, and are always working hard to make sure your child's goals are always met. The rewards and self-fulfillment will carry on with them their entire lives. Students learn that hard work and dedication will always equal success!

We are proud to introduce our Merit Badge Program! As soon as your child begins their membership at Korea-America Taekwondo Academy our main focus is for them to earn their FAMILY BADGE! Family are the the most important people in our lives and the most important part of our lives as well! As we can only reinforce the values of family in our school, we are encouraging parents to participate in our Merit Badge Program! That's right! You (The Parents) have the opportunity to come onto the mat and present your child with our FAMILY Merit Badge. Under your roof, your rules reign! We can't be there to see if your child is brushing their teeth, putting their seat belt on without being told, picking up after themselves, or getting along with their siblings; so you get to decide when they've met all the criteria to earn the most important badge they'll receive!

This month's Merit Badges are Perseverance and Memory! Students will learn what it means to persevere through their journey toward black belt by overcoming physical, mental, and emotional obstacles. Preparing them for their future with a better understanding of why we must keep pushing forward in our lives in order to accomplish our goals. It takes more than hard work to get to where we want to go, but like the old saying goes, "When the going get tough, the tough get going!" Perseverance, along with the correct attitude will open so many doors for our students futures. Perseverance means, "To be Driven and Never Give Up!" Instructors will be looking for opportunities to give the Perseverance badge to students that have shown traits of Perseverance.

To earn the Memory Badge, Students will be required to recite The School Oath without hints! Our Advanced and Black Belt students will have additional requirements but for those intermediate and beginners, The School Oath has been added to our website, in case the hand-out is misplaced. Understanding and Knowledge is guided through Instruction and Memory. Having a strong Memory is an amazing tool that will empower our students and propel them towards success. There are so many ways to build a strong memory and the most important lesson our students can acquire is that Repetition is the Key to all learning!

At Korea-America Taekwondo Academy we understand that respecting others will help our students gain respect in return. We emphasize that our students should carry these valuable life lessons outside of the Dojang and we know that they will have more opportunities to Achieve Certain Victory.
